Dental Implants

Dental Implants are most similar to natural tooth. The dental implant behaves like the root of a tooth to which a dental crown is attached. It behave like a natural tooth as in function and aesthetics.

Dental implant placement has multiple steps and stage. These are

  1. Diagnostics for planning

  2. Placement of the Dental Implant

  3. Healing process

  4. Tooth replacement process

Advantages of Dental Implants are

  1. Most similar to natural tooth

  2. Does not affect adjacent teeth

  3. Last long time, even decades

  4. Prevents Shrinkage of bone

  5. Maintains gingival health

  6. Can replace multiple missing teeth on a few implants or even the entire jaw

Disadvantages of Dental Implants are

  1. Is a surgical process and may not be suitable for those, with medical risk

  2. Requires multiple visits and steps

Advanced diagnostic imaging tools such as CBCT and Intraoral scanners such as ITero and Trios are used at A2ZDental to create digitally navigated surgical stents to optimise the placement of the dental implant as well as minimise any collateral damage to other structures.

Crown and Bridge

Multiple teeth are prepared to accept the bridge to replace missing teeth. Crown glues on the prepared teeth and the bridge is the missing teeth that are being replaced.

Crown and Bridge has multiple steps and stage. These are

  1. Quicker to complete than Implants
